FFP Sports Personality of the Year
Raith Rovers Development Squad Head Coach Craig Easton has been nominated for the prestigious Fife Free Press Group Sports Personality of the Year, 2017. This is the 10th year the contest has been run, and is the largest celebration of sport in the Kingdom of Fife.
With the first team suffering from relegation at the end of last season, it was Craig’s under 20 squad that kicked off the bid to restore pride in the club by securing the Development League East title, with the squad also currently topping this season’s table.
In a high quality field of candidates, Craig is up against Thornton football ref Lorraine Watson, Kirkcaldy racing driver Jonny Adam and Buckhaven cricketer Safyaan Sharif.
