Last Call for Footgolf Funday

Thursday October 12th 2017

Our first ever footgolf funday event takes place this Sunday and we are really looking forward to a great event which starts at 10.30am at Cluny Activities. We are grateful to our additional new sponsors of the event, Val McDermid, Bay Travel, Dean Park and the Sign Co. We are also very pleased to announce our final former player making up the teams, and he will surely prove to be a very popular addition… Thank you to 90’s hero and Hall of Famer Jock McStay who will be joining Jason Dair, Peter Hetherston, Barry Smith, Craig Easton and the development squad for breakfast, footgolf and lunch!

As you are aware, every penny of profit will be put back into Raith Rovers and the development fund so your contributions are very much appreciated. We are now taking reservations on any former players or management which you would like to add to your team so if you want to make sure you play with someone in particular, get in touch and don’t miss out! We also ask that you bring some cash for Sunday as we have some great additional challenges, raffle and two superb auction items!

Due to some late call off’s we still have a few individual places available. If you want to play but don’t have a team- don’t worry! We will sort that for you. Contact by 1pm on Friday. Thank you everyone and see you Sunday! Remember: no football boots are permitted, and do dress accordingly for the weather!

Rovers legend Jocky Maule makes his Rovers debut in a Fife Cup Final tie against Dunfermline at East End Park. The match ends 1-1 but Rovers lose the final on the toss of a coin.
