When the Roary Club launched this year’s collector card scheme at the Ayr game, it was far more popular than expected. So popular, in fact, that they ran out of packs!

It was the biggest ever attendance of Roary Club members at a game – around 10% more young fans were at the game than the previous biggest game against Dunfermline last season.

This meant that a few young fans who turned up to collect the cards were left disappointed – and that’s not something Roary likes to hear. So, after managing to obtain a few more packs, he asked Aaron Lennox and Yaw Osei if they would help him deliver them personally to some of the kids that missed out.

Roary Club members attending this Saturday’s match against Airdrieonians can pick up the next set of cards. This week, the cards include Kyle Benedictus, Jason Thomson and Iain Davidson. Remember – there are 29 cards to collect, and you can get a free pack of six cards at every home game.

Any young supporters of primary school age can still sign up to The Roary Club (for free) at the Supporters Trust table in the South Stand concourse on match days or by sending their child’s name along with their date of birth & postal address to roaryclub@raithrovers.net.
