George Sutherland
Much loved member of the RRFC ground staff George Sutherland passed away yesterday morning, aged 57.
Announcing the sad news, Raith Rovers Chairman Alan Young said “Everyone associated with Raith Rovers was devastated to hear about George’s diagnosis some months ago, and his passing yesterday. He was a loyal servant to the Club who tackled every job that came his way in his own inimitable way – with enthusiasm and dedication. He will be sadly missed by all at Starks Park”.
As a mark of respect to George and his family we’d like everyone at the match today to join in a minute’s applause when the stadium scoreboard reaches the 57 minute mark.
