Situation Vacant – Stadium Manager

Raith Rovers FC has an immediate vacancy for a full time Stadium Manager.

This is a permanent position that will suit a mature, highly motivated and resourceful individual with a mixed skillset and a flexible attitude to work who is capable of nurturing and maintaining the stadium’s existing grass football pitch, undertaking and arranging routine stadium maintenance and improvements, and managing a small but dedicated team of ground staff.

The stadium’s owners plan to install a new artificial pitch at the stadium in summer 2018 and the successful applicant will have a key role to play in helping ensure a smooth transition to that new surface. Following its installation, it is envisaged that the post holder would then assume direct management responsibility for the new facility as an asset for use by both the football club and the local community.

Relevant experience in managing both grass and artificial football pitches is highly desirable, as is the ability to manage and motivate your team, but just as important is a ‘can do’ attitude and an ability and eagerness to learn any aspects of the post in which you are currently inexperienced.

Salary negotiable.
