Raith Rovers Football Club are proudly teaming up with Cancer Research UK to promote the upcoming Race For Life event, to be held in the Beveridge Park on the weekend of 24th and 25th June. Rovers are the only Scottish football club to be partnering with the Cancer Research UK events team for what is a significant event in the Kirkcaldy calendar.

To help promote this event, staff and management of Rovers will actually be taking part in the Family 5k on Sunday 25th which starts at 11am. As well as manager Barry Smith, Development manager Craig Easton and Fife’s number 1 mascot Roary Rover, there will also be representatives from throughout theclub there too. We have set up a donations page with any contributions gratefully received and all sums will go directly to Cancer Research to continue the fantastic work they do.

Race for Life’s Fife event manager, Katie Palmer said: “Life-saving research is being funded right now thanks to the people of Fife running, jogging or walking at Race for Life. I am delighted that Raith Rovers are working closely with Cancer Research UK and we really look forward to seeing everyone at the Beveridge Park in Kirkcaldy for another great weekend
