Off the Pitch – Morton
Have a look at the backstage action from Saturday’s Championship game against Morton …
Tom Nicholson (86), originally from Dysart ,has been following Raith Rovers since his dad first brought him to a match at the age of 8. Tom is now a resident of West Park Care Home in Leslie and the home makes sure he never misses a game at Stark’s Park. Dougie Hill took time out to present Tom with an autographed home strip on behalf of Raith Rovers F.C.
The match sponsors “Greig Peden’s Stag day” took up five tables in the Raith Suite.
The winning 50/50 ticket number 13042 was picked out of the Tombola by new signing Kevin McCann. The prize of £640 hadn’t been collected by the start of the second half.
Eleven year old Joe Meldrum was the winner of the fourth round of the half time penalty shoot out competition. Sponsored by Surface Heating Systems.
Match Sponsor Greig Peden chose Paul Watson as the Man of the Match for Raith Rovers
Nacho Novo was chosen as the Man of the Match for Morton
