Development Squad: Signing News

Head Coach of the Player Development Squad Craig Easton is delighted to announce that we’ve added two more signings to the Development Squad. Jamie Watson and Josh MacDonald have joined the club after impressing throughout pre-season.

A Kirkcaldy lad, Jamie can play right back or right midfield and is a former Balwearie High school pupil and Hutchison Vale B.C. player. He was once part of the Raith Rovers Academy.

Josh MacDonald can play as a centre half or a right back and has joined as an Amateur from East Kilbride FC. He is a former Scottish Schoolboy Internationalist and has won caps against England, Ireland, N. Ireland and Wales.

Both boys have an excellent attitude and work ethic and have really improved in the last couple of months of full-time training. Head Coach Craig Easton is really excited to see what the future holds for these two if they continue to work hard and he’s sure they will. They are fantastic additions to the Development Squad and it’s a pleasure to add them to a core group of talented players that will hopefully contribute to the future of the club in the not too distant future.
