Despite last night’s unexpected downpour, the match was able to start on time due to the heroic efforts of staff and volunteers.

Craig Surgeon, Stadium Manager, told us “a big thank you must go to all the volunteers, management team and the Under 19s who generously offered to pitch together and lend a hand. I’d also like to say a special thank you to Tony, George, Simon and Derek for their continuous help and support, especially last night.

Craig continued by highlighting that “although it was not the score the club was looking for, I was still extremely proud that the game managed to go ahead.It just goes to show the amount of hard work my team put in, so thank you all again.”

The club would also like to show their appreciation and say thanks to all those involved who put in a huge amount of effort.
