Jason Thomson Loses Red Card Appeal

At a Hearing before the Judicial Panel at Hampden earlier today, club captain Jason Thomson lost his appeal against a sending off in last week’s Petrofac Training Cup tie against Stenhousemuir. Accompanied by Chief Executive Eric Drysdale and Manager Ray McKinnon, the club deputation presented its case in considerable detail, but ultimately the Panel was not persuaded that there was an obvious refereeing error.

Jason therefore is suspended for Saturday’s visit to Easter Road, and for the first Challenge Cup fixture of next season.
