After Saturday’s excellent performance and result against Alloa, there are developments to report today.

Firstly, the bad news on the injury front. Yesterday, talented midfielder Ross Callachan dislocated his shoulder as a result of a freak accident while out with his family. Ross faces the prospect of an extended period on the sidelines, although the full prognosis will not be available until an MRI scan can be arranged to assess any soft tissue injury that may have resulted from the dislocation. It goes without saying that, especially on the back of Lewis Vaughan’s recent ACL rupture, this is a devastating blow to manager Ray McKinnon’s squad.

After that setback, we’re glad to say that there’s some really positive news just around the corner. www.raithrovers.net will bring you important signing news at 2.30pm!!
