Davo Returns

Saturday August 8th 2015

Following his departure from Dundee at the end of last season, we are pleased to announce that ex Rovers star Iain Davidson (31) has returned to Stark’s Park for a second spell with Raith Rovers. The popular defensive midfielder signed on the dotted line this morning, and is available for selection in this afternoon’s Ladbrokes Championship opener at home to Livingston.

Having spent eight years at Kirkcaldy between 2004 and 2012, Iain decided to try his luck with the Dens Park men and he featured regularly for the Dees over three seasons, helping them gain promotion to the top flight and then consolidate their position there.

Welcome home, Davo!

Rovers title hopes are dashed through at East End Park with Dunfermline winning the game 2-1 in front of 11052 fans. Although John Baird gave Rovers the lead two goals from Martin Hardie in the second half sealed victory for the Pars.
