Shire Hope For Court Appearances

Thursday July 30th 2015

Exciting young prospect, Jonny Court (19), has become the latest Rovers player to go out on loan to League 2 side, East Stirlingshire. Manager Ray McKinnon hopes the player will gain valuable first team experience at a good level, which will stand him in good stead for his career development, just as it has done for young centre half David Bates who followed the same path last season.

Everyone at Stark’s Park wishes Jonny all the best, and on his return in January, it’s hoped he will be well equipped to push for first team action with Raith Rovers.

Rovers title hopes are dashed through at East End Park with Dunfermline winning the game 2-1 in front of 11052 fans. Although John Baird gave Rovers the lead two goals from Martin Hardie in the second half sealed victory for the Pars.
