Rock the Rovers 10
This years Rock the Rovers is the 10th anniversary and over the last 9 years over £52,000 has been raised for local charities and Raith Rovers FC.
A dinner to celebrate is being held at the Victoria Hotel on Friday July 25th at 7pm. Tickets are now on sale for £25, which includes a 3 course meal, and can be bought from Gavin Quinn or can be booked through the Victoria Hotel. All the money raised from the auction and raffle will be going to this years rock the rovers good causes. The guest speakers are Craig Brown, John Rowbotham and Bill Leckie.
Rock the Rovers 10 is on Sunday 31st August at Kittys/Kandy with the doors opening at 12.30pm. Tickets for this are £10 and are on sale now from Styx and the Fife Free Press Office (Kirk Wynd, Kirkcaldy).
This year’s charities are Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal, Kirkcaldy YMCA, Down’s Syndrome Scotland, Maggies Fife, McCrae’s Battalion Trust, Love Oliver and Raith Rovers FC.
The acts are Gav Patrick, Charles Wood, Steph, Slipstream, State of Emergency, Cousin Kens Nephews, Joes Band, Bad Boogaloo, The Polis, Garrison, The Cavaliers and Janey Kirk.
The 1st band on the Kitty’s stage will be at 2pm and the 1st act on the Kandy stage will be at 3.30pm.
