Rovers Announce New Signing!
The club is pleased to announce that it has strengthened its squad ahead of the vital close season period. In a daring coup, we have swooped to sign Ally Gourlay (51) from the Former Players Association and Hall of Fame Steering Group and he will go straight into the behind the scenes team. Ally’s part time role will include responsibility for media relations and, importantly, he will also join Commercial Director Tom Morgan and Laura Jarvis in the commercial team. Speaking after securing the talented youngster’s (?!) signature, Chief Executive Eric Drysdale commented, “We have been looking to bolster gaffer Tom Morgan’s first team pool for some time, and we are confident Ally can help take us to the next level. He is already very well known to everyone associated with the club and I am sure he will fit in very well.”
