Rovers Add To Squad

Friday January 10th 2014

We are delighted to confirm that the club has secured the services of former Hibernian and Hearts right back, Fraser Mullen, initially for the remainder of this season. Fraser was released yesterday by our Scottish Cup 5th Round opponents and manager Grant Murray moved quickly to secure the 20 year old’s signature.

A former Scotland Under 17 international, Fraser was a victim of the cuts at Tynecastle at the end of last season. Having made 9 first team starts for Hearts he secured a one year deal at Easter Road where he featured in a further 4 first team fixtures during the first half of this season.

Fraser trained with his new team mates this morning and is available for selection for tomorrow’s trip to Greenock.

Look out for news later this evening re ticket sales for our forthcoming cup tie against Fraser’s former club!!

Rovers title hopes are dashed through at East End Park with Dunfermline winning the game 2-1 in front of 11052 fans. Although John Baird gave Rovers the lead two goals from Martin Hardie in the second half sealed victory for the Pars.
